Atty. (appended after passing the Bar Exams) is the Title that gives one the privilege to practice Law

In the same way that Medical School Graduates have MD at the end of their names to signify that they have Graduated from a Medical School but cannot function independently prior to passing the licensure exams and have Dr. as a prefix in their names.

IMHO why deprive someone of a title they have worked for.

I am not a lawyer. I didn’t take law too. But the Bar Exam is a standard or a measure to draw that thin line between those who really know the law by heart and mind, and those who were that close to put it in their heart. Of course, we would prefer to work with those who know the law by heart and mind.

Just my two cents.

For me giving titles to law graduates who didn’t pass the bar is ridiculous. “consuelo de bobo” as they term it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s just what I think.

Why don’t you propose that the bar exams become “bottomless” instead? Like iced tea?
