Such a splitting…

First off, I’m sorry I did not post an entry yesterday. I had such a splitting headache…

Well, it started last Sunday when we all went to Eastwood. Bea had a party to attend to. We were not invited so I took the opportunity to take Nico around the place. Seeing his eyes light up told me that this was a very good idea…

But later that night, my nephew brought his computer to me for repairs. I thought it would not take long but I finished it around 2:00 a.m. due to a severe virus attack. Add to that, I had to drive Bea to school at 6:00 a.m.

Then, I had a lot of pending documents to finish then off to my office to meet someone, then to a birthday party for lunch…

By 1:00 p.m., I was totally wasted that I had to head home to rest. But I had to buy Nico his milk and diapers first…

So you could imagine how wasted I was when I got home…I could not even attend MLQ3’s roundtable discussions (had there been one, I’m still checking if it did happen) because I had to sleep it off. Did not even have dinner…

So this morning I had a craving for two jumbo paos…tasted good…

While I was wasted, the new developments in Gloriagate did not surprise me because rumors of this scandal going all the way to the President’s house in La Vista have been going around as the additional “explosion” of Archbishop Cruz. I asked about it from a neighbor but he was not there at the time in question so he’s no use. But I’m pretty sure a lot of people were going in and out of that house since, I assume it was used as some sort of campaign headquarters. In my experience as an election lawyer, politicians usually have political/campaign offices within their residences so their fingers are “on the pulse” 24/7.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to iBlog Mini on 04 August 2005 and finally meet blog friends like Jove Francisco and Manolo Quezon… that I specifically set aside time that morning to attend. I hope Tiborce could attend, too. Haven’t seen even the shadow of the guy for a long time now…

Finally, I noticed IE6 has been eating proverbial dust from the new “good looking” and feature-packed browsers of Opera 8 and Netscape 8. When I googled IE7, it was still in the “developer testing stage.” Microsoft should better watch out. IE6 is becoming the top browser just because it’s already built into Windows. Personally, I’ve been using Firefox for almost a year now…

That’s it for now. Will try to blog lecture tomorrow…
